The Unreal 5 game engine created a Matrix Awakens presentation for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X platforms. When you hear about Facebook cornball metaverse, you start to hear goofy Black tech folks especially the Blavity AfroTech crowd running their mouth trying to appear smart. The reality is Dream and Hustle been discussing this topic of immersive and augmented worlds over 10 years ago and did real work.

For example, we are the ones who created a geofenced SistaSphere overlaying V-103 For Sistas Only conference because that garbage Atlanta radio station disrespect sistas with their misogynist playlist, and they even had Future performing at the For Sistas Only conference that was supposed to cater to intelligent entrepreneurial Black women.

In our Toshikiso API, we created the tools to support Omniverse worlds based on our experience in Japan where my Japanese boo, my choom showed me how she had all of her “spaces” based on her lifestyle on her phone and she was on one side of town and the other side of Tokyo creating a network of destination that fit her lifestyle – she wasn’t on some “let’s build a Black community strip” mindset – she had a digital community driven by data on an alternate digital lifestyle plane.

We are fully aware of how to approach the omniverse landscape from an ADOS perspective because we based our development on real Black communities around the USA. While we worked on our real Black communities as the base - these Black tech clowns talking don’t have a girlfriend and live in their mom refurbished attic and don’t want to voluntarily wash dishes after momma cook so she put their clown behind on chores and they 26 years old. Then these Black tech clowns want to get online and talk about they are a subject matter experts on tech and the metaverse.

Our expertise on how ADOS is more based on reality.

Game Consoles and Big Screens. ADOS primarily interface devices will not be VR goggles or mobile phones. ADOS will be using 75-inch UHD screens attached to a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X to immerse in virtual worlds with a high resolution like the Matrix Awakens Unreal 5 example. We are already doing things like playing immersive video games and we have man caves and entertainment rooms. VR goggles is for a one-person nerd/dork – a video game screen and big system involves the whole family or the Black entertaining party to enjoy watching someone move around a metaverse which is really a cute name for open-world maps.

Hybrid Solutions. We discussed this topic over 10 years ago discussing geofencing and AR technology. We can go to a run-down commercial center in the Black community and overlay the community with existing and digital-only business ventures using augmented reality overlay on the mobile phone. The problem with mobile A/R technology is you going to get your phone easily snatched in the hood sticking it out to view some overlay – that was happening in London when they piloted this technology. A better open is geofencing or Bluetooth tech but Apple went proprietary and messed the Bluetooth part up. But we have discovered a more compelling solution than A/R in the hood – we can just virtualize the realm on a digital plan.

Virtual Realms. Instead of trying to build up the physical community. We can build an open world map using game engines like Unreal or Unity. It can be like the old school Sim City 2000 where we just layout roads and zoning areas and people pay to buy houses and storefronts. But as you see from the Matrix Awakens screenshot, there are massive opportunities where someone can build a multi-story story building and rent out virtual office spaces to law firms, take-out eatery or book publishing company or music labels. For ADOS, we may have hangout spots resembling Japan where people can visit a poetry session like on Clubhouse at a virtual location with membership-only subscription fees. Think about that.

NPCs. A non-playable character or NPC is really what this technology is trying to bring to the table. These are basically chatbots that look and act like humans within the metaverse. They can act as your friend or your ally and you have seen them in video games rolling with you helping to defeat your enemies. Think of Carl in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas calling for his Grove Street homies. You are going to see NPCs you can purchase or rent that cater to your tastes and preferences and probably say only what you want to hear about sports, politics, and fashion. NPCs can help guide you around the metaverse with recommendations, talk to you about ADOS voting blindly for Joe Biden and now we got the worst President/Vice President in history because of that.

These are going to be a few elements of how ADOS will use the metaverse – we are going to use the metaverse to build up Black digital economies and hybrid realms. We are not going to be doing any cornball stuff Mark Zuckerberg and his Meta vision were presenting. We going to be using existing game engine platforms and build-out for game consoles. We going to build space stations, underworld tunnels, and sea colonization as well as cities like you see in Matrix Awakens as our worlds that you can access through the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

We going to witness a growth in marketing for Black-owned businesses. See, we don’t need clickbait content sites like Blavity or Black Enterprise or Moguldom and they better be shaking in their boots about now because they know they are obsolete. We are going to see folks build up these worlds using CAD software or Blender and create virtual buildings that can run billboard advertisements like Times Square, build multi-story buildings that have NPC representatives of Black startups who may have started a pizza joint in the real hood and they can order their pizza from the virtual world, nobody reading some damn Blavity clickbait article – they going to be immersed in an ADOS metaverse.

You are about to see a real Afropunk movement and paradigm shift like you never saw Black creativity ever unleashed in an ADOS paradigm. But outside of ADOS, we have stated over and over – our UK brothas and sistas in London, Birmingham, Liverpool – they have been the real target of declaring a metaverse as the only realistic solution in the UK because Black-owned real estate is hard to obtain – they going to have a major metaverse opportunity as well as Belgium and France minority communities. So yeah, this metaverse is going to be major because we are looking at building out virtually where folks are oppressed from building things out physically.
