Top of Mind Matters for Black America Regarding Summer 2021

The summer of 2021 is going to be both disruptive and violent – this is the environment we are facing. There is going to be a Black economic explosion for sure but it will be Black Excellence. However, we seeing disturbing indicators that brothas and sistas are in trouble and a world of hurt. Let’s not sugarcoat the matter – the brothas and sistas who subscribed to Black Ignorance the past 10+ years are those who going to suffer the most.

A lot of the suffering is going to be debts that are owed by following a life of Black Ignorance instead of pursuing self-enlightenment and purpose-fulfillment. Following charlatans like Dr. Boyce Watkins and thought that was a cool move. Why did these people waste their life like that? I don’t have anything to say about Black ignorance except being ignorant is the most expensive lifestyle ever. Yall don’t realize how much money is lost being Black and ignorant in America, for real. You look at everything from lost commercial centers, lost real estate value, lost quality of life and we talking close to trillions in lost economic activity in Black communities due to Black Ignorance.

We are reaching peak Black Ignorance that will manifest in the summer of 2021. There are brothas and sistas who are going to get caught up and doesn’t matter if they are nice and good-natured, because they subscribe to the Black Ignorance ecosystem. We don’t want to see anything bad and neither do you but the reality is we going to have a hard summer in 2021.

Here is the top of mind matters that brothas and sistas have to not sleep on and stay focused and woke:

Increasing Violence in Urban Communities.

The increasing violence we are seeing around the country has very little to do with gang-related activities. Violence is trending more with domestic-related violence among stressful households and social interactions like nightclubs and hood gatherings. It is very wise for anybody to first remove themselves from toxic and negative environments. Do not even bother with nightclubs and stay away from people who are not happy to be around you. Focus on being on your own around those who truly happy to be around you.

The focus with me and my team are to promote true membership and experiential third spaces and digital spaces so people can meet qualified people with similar interests – not random ghetto folks looking to commit violence as the only power they can express when feeling disrespected.

Upcoming Eviction and Homeless Crisis

The West of the Mississippi River has a massive homeless crisis with tents and RVs popping up in front of people's homes and this is both an economic and humanitarian crisis going on. The end of the eviction moratorium is going to create a new paradigm – we going to see multiple-occupancy housing where people rent a bedroom and use a common kitchen and bathroom area. We going to see people sleeping out of their vehicles – a lot of people don’t have family or friends to lean on if things go wrong and have nowhere to really turn. But it is going to be hyper-violent when it times for landlords to tell deadbeat tenants they have to move out.

I want people to keep a calm head on their shoulders – it’s plenty of places we considered impoverished that you can move to and live cheaply and be next to the urban action. Think of outlying areas in North Carolina for example or Oklahoma even though both states have natural disaster risks from Hurricanes and tornadoes. Omaha, Nebraska, and outlying Virginia as well. Do some research as even places like North Illinois and South Wisconsin are areas that one can move to with their family. If I was in a situation I would have to move to a cheaper place, I would personally target Atlanta or Dallas, or the Charlotte area.

Career and Life Transformation Shift

Firms want their employees to return to the office but in reality, no one cares to see co-workers that didn’t reach out to them or cared how they were doing in 2020. A lot of employees saw how fake people they ate lunch with actually were and have no desire to see them again or reunite. A lot of people enjoyed working from home. Second, Black people are facing the biggest job threat in their entire life with global competitiveness and artificial intelligence. But Black folks listening to idiots on YouTube instead of taking care of their own future planning to be on par with everybody else in the world.

A lot of Black people don’t realize it but they are being pushed into being on a mechanized plantation. Brothas and sistas who go around the world, not that Nomadness Travel Tribe bullcrap but real travel around the world see what third-world factories look like – a lot of fine brown women working 10 hours a day doing the same factory line job 6-days a week wasting their life away. We are seeing brothas and sistas here in America steered in that direction as well, your boss is text instructions on a mobile app or a robot delivering your boxes to sort and label for shipping. Losing your quality of life by showing up at a big warehouse or doing gig work being instructed by an app on your cell phone.

Most people will say it’s too late and I agree – been trying to tell Black folks for 10 years about this but Black folks stayed stuck on stupid. This is a massive issue and I will say this, if you got an ounce of drive and motivation in you, you better do everything you can to avoid the fate awaiting the Black Ignorance class. Learn tech skills with open-source software, listen to real experts on YouTube who actually demonstrate how-to, not talk a bunch of motivational nonsense. You better act like you the third monkey in line on Noah’s Ark and find a way not to get caught up with the reality of the Black Ignorance crowd out there.

Real Estate Market

This is a massive windfall for Black Excellence who sees the future of commercial districts and commercial spaces. There is an abundance of cheap real estate spaces and we haven’t seen it like this in over 100 years and may never see it like this in 100 years and there is so much opportunity to create new models of retailing and re-imagine commercial spaces.

I’m pretty sure you been outside and see it is crowded everywhere trying to go out and eat and there are queued lines of people waiting outside certain stores like they doing drop culture. This is the time where you want to start looking at experiential retailing as done in Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai – things like pop-up shops, podcast and live streaming studio rentals, dating experiential like photo scenes for social media, and create third spaces for café, gourmet burgers, co-working spaces and more.

HustleSpace is going to be a tool to help entrepreneurs look at next-generation retailing and experiential business models.  This is a great experience ahead of us.

Black Dining Moving Away from Cheap Fast Food to Premium Experience

One of the biggest problems in the Black community is French fries – there is a future article on Dream and Hustle explaining French fries is the dumbest mistake a Black food entrepreneur can make. We are going to advocate the Black food community remove French fries from the menu and I think they will have no problem agreeing.

Today, Black dining is a premium experience where reservations are needed and the focus is on better cuisines than fast foods. We are looking at crab/shrimp boil, vegetarian and even twists on tacos and salad bars and wine bars with light appetizers – this is the future of Black dining. Many places are mixing both clubs entertaining with food experiences. This is just the beginning of a new horizon and excitement.

It’s time to help cultivate this scene more and in the summer, we are looking at truly compiling a list of experiences for Black tourists and travelers to go and enjoy and book reservations – there may be a possibility of bidding on seating because the truth is the Black restaurant market is really hot right now in the Sun Belt area of the US. Don’t know what’s going on in Afro-Europe but maybe they should come here to America and open restaurants as well.

A Lot Going Down in the Summer of 2021.

We see a lot of huge adversity and a huge opportunity. But to be honest, don’t expect a lot of people to feel sorry for Black Ignorance who need to own up to their own mistakes following and chasing BS instead of investing in themselves.

As a result of Black Ignorance, we going to see more chaotic violence and crime perpetrated and it is best for Black Excellence to get away from such an environment and focus on personal growth and taking care of your family and those you love.

Instead, look at the awesome opportunities ahead that people cannot even visualize or see ahead of them. Go chase your dreams but chase the actual opportunities that are manifesting out there. Cut off those who were not there for you pre-COVID because Ed Dunn has and trust me, it feels good after you got rid of stuff you kept around for no reason. Too much to look forward too in the future – go live it out.
