I moved to Japan as a start of the new Afroasiatic journey. I was out last week as I prepared my move from Atlanta to Tokyo and getting setup in Tokyo. I'm pretty much settled in and now back online. I hope you understand the reason why I was out for a minute.
Now that I'm settled in, let's discuss where all of this is headed and the current juncture. First, my business operations are still in America and Atlanta will likely be my base. The only problem with Atlanta is no direct flights to Dubai, another place I will be setting up in 2027. But I have direct flights from Tokyo to Dubai which is a good thing.
This means I'm likely a digital nomad or global citizen but this is necessary for my line of work if I want to quickly ramp up a global empire.
This is Where I Belong
In Atlanta, it was hard to focus and stay on point. Every other day, the Black community was on some nonsense - look at them talking about Invest Fest, always something to be distracted about. Every time I go out in the real world in America, I always encounter a goofy with mental issues or a stupid stank attitude chick I'm not even paying attention to, or someone who cannot drive or drive while on drugs.
I knew in Tokyo, I would be living the soft life and be able to focus and lock in on my peace and purpose there. This is my first week in Tokyo and I'm already like Denzel in the Equalizer 3 and found new friends, new helpers at the local grocery store, local cafe with friendly staff, chillhop cafes to crack open the laptop and check in with my AI agent, and plot out the self-ecosystem and the global empire plans.
Also let's be honest and obvious. I had to make Tokyo the first stop to be with my boo thang. We are both glad to be together in the city and will be planning weekend trips in September - it is really hot right now during the month of August, seriously hot and humid. The last week was something else - a flash flood that I barely escaped, and an earthquake that almost shook me out of bed. I wasn't bothered, I'm glad I'm experiencing something new rather than what I was experiencing in Atlanta.
I already had a routine established in Tokyo but now I'm in an apartment, in a nice suburban community with cafes and parks, local grocery stores, and bicycle traffic. So my routine is go jogging or walking during sunrise, spend the sunrise peacefully at the park, go back and freshen up, spend the morning at one chillhop cafe planning out my day, handle my day and lunch break, sightseeing, evening is where I'm cooking my meals, and then I spend social hours at spots making new friends and contacts.
I'm enjoying myself for real and my quality of life is awesome. I have a remote panel in the kitchen that automatically fills the bathtub with warm water so I can just jump in. Yes, I'm living like this much cheaper than my life in America as well.
Afroasiatic Journey Begins
Now that I'm in Asia, we will begin establishing the Afroasiatic ecosystem in Asia and back in the West. I already see Afroasiatic elements for Africa being established as well and learned this in my first week being here, the movement is real.
Our movement is real - patterns and practices, innovation, economic and infrastructure development. I have not been out yet, but a lot of African-American heritage practices and patterns are still practiced here in Japan. I was out wearing my Sunday best like we used to do in the 1920s, just like those black and white pictures - that is still intact and practiced here in Japan and I love it. There are also a lot of mamma kitchens in Japan and I have been to a few and some of them I visited for years.
We have to start looking and exploring our heritage that was lost to clownery. I will be researching this angle of the past while exploring and enjoying the innovation of the future. I can tell you that Q-Front is my favorite building in the whole world and look forward to enjoying that space.
Akiba Season
Our Akibas have been involuntarily adopted into the Afroasiatic movement because I realized they are not aware of how much power and potential they have going on for them. They have more global runway than anybody among our people. I'm on the ground floor for them as well - she will be empowered on a whole different level when I get through with her.
We will begin the white papers, the foundational steps, and the opportunities all laid out for our Akibas. The real goal is to help the ones in America and Europe, the ones here in Japan and South Korea already got their finger on the pulse of life.
I already have things queued up for my lovely and beautiful Akibas and they will get the news pretty soon. Like I said, she will realize who she always was when it is all said and done.
Locked In
I'm seriously zoned, locked-in, and focused right now. To be honest, a heavy weight has been lifted off my back as soon as I got on that Delta One flight to Tokyo. All the BS going on in America was left in America at that point. That is a good feeling.
I see why I see our people leaving America for Asia and loving that decision. It cleans the slate. But here is the thing - the gap we have to close is having that sustainability and income keep coming in to support our new life in Asia as Afroasiatics and that will be the plan.
This is my update so far as I'm wrapping up at the chillhop cafe here in Ginza and will resume blogging. By the way, the new Dream and Hustle is way more capable and we will be showing our new features very soon.
