The Music Industry Changed Forever Because of AI
If you haven’t noticed, this is a pivotal year of Dream and Hustle as we embraced AI-First media. Podcasts, TikTok video studio, now music. The genie is out of the bottle and not going back in. This is a Fourth Industrial Revolution underway and people going to roll with it or get rolled over.
Our latest release by Clara Ney is our first major release we are promoting – we even have a 30-second commercial for it, that’s how far we gone. Clara Ney has already released 50+ songs and 5 projects in one week! She has a catalog of 1,000+ songs that we have to curate and get ready for commercial release.
In this new release, The Rotterdam Project, Clara is collaborating with Elke, who will be officially announced in 2026. Both are in the cover photo. Elke is a downtempo artist from the Netherlands and that is the basis of music genres such as chillhop and triphop.
I’m going to be honest – it’s a lot of bangers that can be released as singles on The Rotterdam Project. I can play this album all day back-to-back because it is so chilled. Our early feedback is this is one of the best albums and Elke is fresh and exciting. And it shows we are doing nothing but getting better and better with using AI and our own music productions skills to refine our projects.
The music industry is scared of AI and rightfully so. Because they cannot do nothing about it. Let me give the best example. iHeart Radio came out with a statement they will not be promoting any AI artists or play any AI music. They stated they will be “human only” and this made me laugh so hard, because it sounds scared and desperate. What a goofy CEO that won’t last next year.
Here is the problem with iHeart Radio position – the music distribution and channels for AI music don’t need iHeart Radio. The real marketplace is not whether the music is AI or real humans. The real market is the advertising market and the fan engagement – that is the source of the revenue.
Think of EA Sports and cats out here playing NFL video games – even the NFL players are playing Madden! Madden is virtual and have their economy around their game outside of the real NFL and have their own fan engagement and revenue streams for their digital model.
AI artists are the same paradigm – they will create their economy and their own channels. We will be streaming AI media through Kossier and from our hubs – we don’t need iHeartRadio or XM Sirius for anything. Just like the vTubers, the artists will get their fans to spend on merchandise, sell tickets to virtual shows, and have sponsorship and tie-ups with advertisers all around the world.
But the question is where are you at? I have stated over and over – content is your retirement plan, not saving up your 401K and that paltry cash balance plan, that’s not a pension. You want to create AI representation of your self-ecosystem and turn them into monetization engines. You can do this now and be a digital nomad or just retire early and let them do the work and you enjoy life to the fullest and collect the money.
2026 will be brutal to the status quo media industry because there will be more AI artists entering the market like a gold rush. The real market makers and leaders will be those who can create fan engagement like social media influencers who can draw in fans for their shows and buy up their merchandise and get sponsorship deals, big and small.
But it’s a major for you guys because the horizon is wide open. There are not only AI artists in the marketplace opportunity, there is clearinghouses, distribution, artist agencies, streaming stations – so much you can do with AI Artists and not deal with any more standoffish humans in the industry.
The full album is available on YouTube and I seriously love this project and hope you too as well. Let me give some insights here – notice I said chillhop and downtempo – that’s chillhop café music licensed to stream at cafes around the world. You see the revenue opportunities going on at the same time, we have fan engagement with our AI artists.
Here is The Rotterdam Project in full – enjoy. We recommend you put the video to full screen and enjoy a calm relaxing tea moment.
