Preparing Black America for the Upcoming Cyber-Corp Paradigm
Over the past year, if you wonder why we were kinda silent at Dream and Hustle, it was because we were rapidly evolving and iterating in the research and development lab. As we focused on urban business and tech, as we covered issues with black urban issues and possible solutions and technology innovations, we began to put the pieces together to create urban black empowerment.
This article will be shocking to a lot of lame brothas and sistas out there clout-chasing while we was making worldwide moves on how to empower black folks in America. We are going to talk about our developments on the next-generation cyber-corporation that is going to change everything about us and the business world we know today.
What is a Cyber-Corporation?
A cyber-corporation is an incorporated entity that can run semi-autonomous and leverage new paradigms of technology from API microservices to blockchain to machine learning to run major workflow of a business operation. A cyber-corp can operate as a self-service model where your customers just use their mobile phone to interact with your business or a cyber-corp scale up to run business-to-business full end-to-end supply chain solutions. The bookkeeping, the inventory, the taxes and all of that can be managed through automated workflows and make it easier for entrepreneurs to launch and maintain business operations.
This is not a “side-hustle” – that’s an old way of thinking – this is a business automation that can run on it’s own while you handle the business. But most important, a cyber-corporation is a stand-alone entity that can issue shares, hire and fire humans and microservices and help make educated decisions and recommendations to keep the business intact. And it can know when it time to die and gracefully close down the operation to be analyzed for future ventures to be better. In other words, we have the capability to create businesses, replicate businesses, scale businesses, compliance reporting on business while we handle our business.
The funny thing is we talked about all of this on Dream and Hustle, but brothas and sistas been out there ignoring this spot and chasing gossip news and trying to portray themselves as millionaire moguls or whatever. Now we about to present the new paradigm of cyber-corporations, most brothas and sistas simply won’t be ready – they going to be looking real stupid and start stuttering and responding stupid and we going to be laughing at them. But I hope you reading this are ready for this so let’s get into the high-level discussion cyber-corporations.
Cyber-Corporate Components
A cyber-corporation is what most global companies around the world is trying to achieve through “digitization efforts” you will hear as the buzzword on corporate business calls with investors. However, it is going to be a hard transformation for big companies to take out their legacy components and replace with the latest technology – jobs, contracts, expertise and years of experience on the old systems.
However, African-Americans don’t have any of that because they shut us out and excluded us. But the good thing is we can build up from 100% of the newest technology and methods out right now, making us quicker to adapt innovation as a people. That’s the good thing. And let’s talk about those components.
Agile Methodology. A cyber-corp focus on story fulfillment that results in value delivery for the customer. The customer stay engaged through increment improvements that respond to their demand. There is no need for gimmick marketing; value delivery keep a customer loyal and spreading word of mouth about a company.
Data Lake. This is establishing a single source of truth (SSOT) data source where you throw every data into a repository and let the machines sort it out. Your machines can sort out items that belong in executive reports, compliance forms, ledger entries, media press release and more. In addition to a data lake, the use of a graph data store is critical to form relations between data to create a focused picture.
Machine Learning. These are your new advisers who can dig into the data lake and extract the information you need to understand how your company is performing. These are a set of rules and algorithms that look for specific data and process the data to report back to you.
Cryptosystems. This is how corporate data is secure for both validation and transaction. Distributed ledgers allow all business partners to assure the data is trustworthy and leaves no doubt about if the information is valid. The real value is the ability to use shared data repositories where multiple entrepreneurs can share a same ledger with their information encrypted, creating a redundant backup of the data.
Microservices. These are API interfaces that are event-driven to operate a service like record an entry to the accounting log or sign up a user to a subscription list. There are both internal microservices and external microservices for a cybercorporation. An external microservice are hosted on cloud-infrastructures to process customer requests in near real-time such as payment processing. An internal microservice are used for back-end processing such as settlement and reporting and requires a orchestrator/controller software to pull down data for offline processing.
Storytelling. This is the most important because you don’t need fluff write-ups by media anymore. Think about basketball where sport data analytics can create news stories about how many times a player score during 1st quarter on the road against a certain team – this is news extracted by data that a normal sports journalist cannot write up on. The future of storytelling is going to come from your own data repositories and told by machines. The machines will auto-learn what stories the customers and investors want to hear and sharpen up the stories to measure and adjust to create reader engagement. Another thing we will cover is your documentation site that is a news media platform in itself.
So as you read through the features, you basically see components that can automate tasks that an average entrepreneur would have to spend a lot of money to hire people to perform. Now you can be a 1 to 5 person team running a business operation allowing machines to perform the major work.
Daily Operations
As you see, this is a major deal because launching startups will be as simple as pressing a button. If you own a salon for example, a press of a button can setup screens to allow customers to book appointments, check-in when they arrive and auto-schedule and show efficiency of the business. In addition, machine learning can learn the local market and how to reach out and find new customers through automated advertising or brand placement getting this information from other machines already established in the area.
These are paradigms that we have not seen before. What we seen in the past is a bunch of clowns at Black Enterprise magazine trying to tell me and you how hard it is to start a business and a business is likely to fail within 5 years. The machines will show us how to build and optimize businesses and those businesses we can have day jobs or go traveling or work remote in Costa Rica with a vacation home and run some business operations 24/7 worldwide where we just press a button to replicate a cyber-corp that automatically translated itself to speak Mandarin for Chinese customers over in China. That’s how hard we going and how awesome the landscape is for the cyber-corp.
Impact on the Black Community
The rise of cyber-corporations is going to a shock positive for the black community. What will happen is a new paradigm of innovation will happen among black urban communities to quickly ramp up startup businesses within their own community. Think about some of the earlier Dream and Hustle articles.
We can create bars, clubs, memberships business models where people can auto-register and pay using their mobile phones while the owner don’t have to be present. We can create delivery and sharing models where black kids are not working cheap low-paying jobs; they are partners and stakeholders running these hustles and getting paid as entrepreneurs with machines working out the taxes and payroll for them and invest back into the business. Single mothers can sell or rent handbags where she can use shared lockers to put the product in and assign a code for customer pickup and return – that’s her business model while she at work.
I have not even gone into more advanced models such as autonomous black media like a radio station that can license music and play on a stream basis with subscribers and research the web automatically for the next big hits to put in rotation – see, told yall these basic black folks are not ready and some of them cannot even believe what was just written here. All I just mention was already built up and we are now getting ready to roll out.
The cyber-corporation is going to change black American the way we know it, in a good way. More information will be coming soon.
