Legacy Black Media Stay Lying to Sistas About Her Situational Reality
Legacy Black media has always been a failure – Ebony/Jet, Essence, BET, Radio One, Black Enterprise, etc. The core reason is these magazines never focused on Black elevation or improvement and instead focused on selling out to corporate advertisers with lame bland content. Kinda like what Morgan DeBaun and that goofy Blavity platform is engaged in.
Another core reason is Black media assumed they are the only thing Black people can rely on. This may have been true during Jim Crow and segregation, but Post Civil Rights, the Boule nonsense creeped into Black media. Listicles of who is who in Black culture, filtering on Blacks they like, and Blacks they want to exclude. Gatekeeping.
Today, Black media is pretty much irrelevant, and they did it to themselves. Black people creating their own Black media moves by moving global, operating on global media platforms, getting their own followers and customers.
Black media role of gatekeeping is obsolete, and they will not be forgiven to how they operated in Black culture, focusing on not offending corporate Whiteness creating content for Black empowerment – kinda what that garbage Blavity is doing today.
You would think these Boule clowns running those Black media would just bow out gracefully – no, they want to take a certain demographic down with them – Black American women. You sisters better recognize what they are up to and not get played by them trying to focus on you, telling you anything you want to hear as their survival strategy.
Look at the Democrats, look at these “relationship experts” trying to tell you about men that already left the room. They trying to sell you a narrative while lying about realities that are impacting Black women that you sistas need situational awareness of.
In this article let’s talk about the end days of Black media and the reality of what sistas are going through. The point of this article is for you sistas to disconnect from the Matrix of this Black identity and find your own way as a Black woman in the 21st century. Personally, I would choose Afroasiatic but let’s get into the article.
Black Media Selling YNs as Good Black Folks to Corporate Advertisers
This is Black radio stations where they are actively playing self-hating, misogynist, and violent rap lyrics and these singing mental-issue sistas talking about their hatred of men, and hatred of herself. But then these radio stations go to corporate advertisers and tell them their audience are African American households, not broke YNs engaged in violence and self-hatred.
Here is the rub – if a big box store in Chicago South Side is advertising on Black radio, and Wal-Mart and Target open on the South Side, what happened next? The Black community started stealing and destroying the store instead of appreciating someone opened a store to make goods available to them.
But we need to dig deeper – these shoplifting and disrespect for Wal-Mart in the hood does not just affect the store, the brands are affected as well. So that means Unilever, Proctor and Gamble, and PepsiCo stuff are stolen and vandalized as well.
These advertisers were burned by Black media and none of them are going to market foolish to Black media again, disrespecting their stores and brands on the South Side of Chicago and that’s why Target and Wal-Mart and Whole Foods moved out of the Black community in Chicago.
So the Black media is desperate for a demographic and they want to sell Black women to corporate advertisers as docile consumers, the new strategy.
Reality Check: Foreign Chicks Taking All the Good Black Men
Legacy Black media is so scared to even acknowledge the Passport Bro movement, except try to talk about it negatively. The reason why is simple, brothas are leaving the Boule domain of perceived control. The brothas are going overseas and have a whole new experience and gatekeepers have an issue with that.
Instead, legacy Black media want to be dismissive of the brothas, even though brothas are filling up airplanes to fly to Colombia and the Dominican Republic and flying out to Southeast Asia in a historic migration move. The fact Black media is moving this corny and obvious is the proof how desperate and fallen they are as an entity.
Black women are losing all of the high-value good men, and those brothas are not coming back either. The BBC movement in Asia is real and the Asian women chasing good brothas, billions of them. Here is a fact – when sistas hit the wall around her 30s, Asian women at that same age become sexier, shapely, and mature in her career while still being feminine. We brothas noticed this – these Asian women in her 30s and 40s considered “leftover women” are the real prize.
Not just Asia, Poland has some aggressive women that are attractive to high-value Black men, it’s been that way with military bros stationed in Germany for decades. In Colombia and Dominican Republic, the brothas are paying a whole year of rent hanging out with those ladies and those ladies literally fighting each other for an American Black man.
The brothas got options and sistas are in denial and trying to shame, insult, guilt, and convince herself these guys are losers. The Black guys are straight looking past Black women and ignoring everything about her while he texting on WhatsApp with that girl he met overseas.
Notice the Black media is not trying to reconcile the brothas and sistas – instead the Black media want to sell lies to Black women, telling her what she wants to hear. This is pandering to sistas and the goal is just draw in the sistas instead of help the sistas among a real-world relationship crisis going on.
Here is something to consider – if this is the reality, then globally mobile Black men would be a great marketing vehicle for airlines, travel destinations, and travel related products, and the travel credit cards. But that isn’t Black media purpose – they don’t want to see Black people moving anywhere and keep them in the victim box to have “set-aside advertising” dollars for DEI stuff.
This is a classic example of how Black media don’t want to address what’s really going on among Black people such as the Passport Bro dynamics and instead, want to lie and make up a false narrative to appeal to corporate advertisers for their revenue model. But DEI is dead and corporations are no longer doing special marketing for Black business, firing Black ad agencies and focus only on mainstream advertising.
Reality Check: Lost Her DEI Job
Notice not one, really – not one legacy media outlet is covering in detail the massive layoff wave of professional Black women. Instead, they got comedians and relationship experts, and false aspirational articles on how Black women are so excellent and magical, gaslighting instead of dealing in the real world of sistas.
The situation with sistas is not necessarily skills – sistas are smart and talented, no one can dispute that. The problem is the sistas extremely f*cked her situation up with her stank attitude, that is what messed up everything.
Managerial sistas are known to be overly mean towards her subordinates, especially against her Black subordinates. She is focused on staying in power, trying be that bad b*tch in the room, turning everybody off. Always looking to be offended if someone say or look at her wrong. Carries a constant resting b*tch face on the job.
What kills me is this – the white collar sistas be swearing up and down she is doing better and making better than the brothas. This is all based on her shallow observations, the reality is brothas always making more money, got more options, because brothas are there to create true value, and have a high level of skillset.
So no one like the sistas at work – she doesn’t even network, just hang around other sistas looking crazy at the good well-paid brothas at work, talking ying-yang and acting stank towards these brothas. Think about it, she can get with that corporate brotha, build up together, buy property together, health benefits, vacation – but the Black woman at work over there just straight up talking sh*t on a solid Black man at the job.
Black media is not even in touch and will try to sell this fake professional image of Black women “doing it” in the corporate world. Black dudes be in executive positions for decades, while sistas don’t even last a few years before being pushed out. But Black media does not even try to address this reality but tell the sistas she is “Black Girl Magic” and “you go gurl!” cheerleading nonsense to attract the sistas to stay on their media platform.
What is going on now is DEI is not over, just over for sistas. What they are doing now is you see a pattern of hiring brown skin Indian women in executive positions. They are replacing these sistas outright altogether. But there is something you should notice. These Indian executive women in general, are married, have children, have elite education, and real-world experience. The executive sista is single, got a mail order MBA, and don’t need a man.
So the Black media should be helping the sistas, but instead, they are lying to sistas as the layoff wave is still going strong. There are stats that shows sistas are being laid off at a rate of hundreds per day. The Black media want to put a smiling face on a situation as their strategy to tell the sistas what they want to hear.
You know the real part, right? The sistas respond to reading and listening to the hard truth than being lied to. The sistas know her situation and she know she drove her Black man to pursue other women in Latin America and Southeast Asia, and she have no support or protection. The sistas want to know how to turn this around, but Black media want to pander instead of facing the situational reality on the ground.
Reality Check: She Hit the Wall
Let’s debunk that one lie and myth that I hear sistas tell each other – Black does crack. And Blacks have the most cracks. Sistas be seriously cracking and they crash into the wall a lot earlier than other women in their 30s.
The reason why is sistas spent her younger years rejecting good brothas and validating pookies and punks. She situated herself around garbage sistas who are tearing each other down and competing with who can get the worst example of a bad boy and lie about controlling him with her p*ssy.
Yeah, she is telling us she got him wrapped around her finger, until he smacks the living sh*t out of her for the food being cold. Or she made fish sticks out of the oven instead of making fried Tilapia. She doesn’t tell yall that part of the bad boy thing. Or the real part – he just takes it from her and have his own way with her.
So she over there dissing good brothas, have a trauma history of dating garbage dudes having his way with her. She tries to impress other sistas who go off and marry good brothas or she get caught up and becomes a victim. Sistas attending other sistas funereal gossiping about how her corpse looked in the casket and ignored she lived that same life, the only difference is the dead sista is spared what fate is awaiting these other sistas.
That fate is the sistas are aged out. No one is checking for her anymore, too many new young sistas are on the market putting it out now. Her fake girlfriends been left the scene and she just by herself. She had an epiphany – these sistas or girlfriends were her actually enemy smiling in her face, stopping her from being happy with a good brotha. But too little, too late – she been played by the sisterhood.
Now she is alone with cats and plants. Her only option for sex is some YN hitting from the back with his skinny jeans pulled down below his knees – the food delivery YN bragging he is throwing back shots on these older ladies more than the UPS Driver who reminded the YN he makes more money as a UPS driver than that broke ass food delivery job.
Is Black media addressing sistas hitting the wall, she out of options, she was betrayed by sisterhood? No, they are selling these fake media articles and movies of sistas on “girl trips” like the sistas really like each other. You brothas travel – did you ever run into a group of sistas traveling overseas? Did you notice they all look miserable with each other with fake smiles? Yeah, I noticed that as well.
The Black media has never addressed sistas and her unrealistic expectations. Kevin Samuels called it out, and the Black media attacked him. You seen the video with Vivica Fox trying to insult Kevin Samuels and even when he died. But Vivica Fox and Lisa Raye are the shining examples of these sistas who lived that lifestyle and hit the wall and no one is checking for them. If anything, sistas fear turning out the same way as Vivica Fox and Lisa Raye.
Legacy Black Media Want to Keep You Here.
The Black media aligned themselves with the Democratic Party instead of being independent. The reason is because they political advertising is one of their main sources of revenue to try to get Blacks to get out the vote. As a result, the Black media basically sold themselves to a plantation instead of being independent and let their audience think for themselves.
The Black media has targeted Black women and profiled the sistas as docile emotional-driven demographic to package to the Democrats. The strategy is not talk to Black women about tax strategy, social strategies for Black households, or bread and butter topics. The strategy is to emotionally manipulate Black women to fear Republicans if they get into power.
What we have seen over and over as a pattern is once Black women goes out and vote for Democrats, they turn on the Black community as soon as they win. The Black media was the first to say, “Obama isn’t the President of Black America; he is the President of all of America!” after talking about Obama repeatedly to get out the Black vote.
As soon as Black women go out and vote for Democrats, the Democrats take the Black vote and start empowering other groups and ethnicities and scoff at Black voters asking for anything. Obama did it, Biden did it, and both Hillary and Kamala made it obvious they were going to do it as well.
Kamala was the worst – using the Alpha Kappa Alpha affinity and Black women and simp Black dudes in Black Greek fraternities fell for it as well. Then on election night at Howard University, a Black HBCU, she lost to Trump and did not even come out and spoke to the AKAs out there strolling all evening for her. Just up and dissed them as if they weren’t important to be spoken to. Sistas still denying that rejection to this day.
Notice they trot out Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, and other figureheads to appeal to Black women. Steve Harvey and Rickey Smiley as well. Then they got that African Shade Room shilling as well and other Black blogging platforms, running the influencer angle. Here is the part the sistas as well as the Black community miss over and over.
They always avoid Black issues and just sell emotion and fear, talking about Civil Rights marchers died for us to vote for Democrats, talk about what the Republicans will do once they get into power. Always scaring and emotionally manipulating Black people while giving Asians a hate crime bill. But sistas are the biggest driver of getting played by the Democrats as a result of falling for emotional manipulation.
The Black media does not want to see sistas or the Black community elevate; they are just there to take a check from the Democrats and advocate Black people to go out and vote for them. No discussions on policy, what’s in their own audience best interest – the Black media sold out to advertisers instead of the people to validate the existence of Black media.
Black Media is Dead: They Haven’t Acknowledged It
Have you seen those movies where the plot twist is the main character is experiencing supernatural activity, only to find out they are actually dead and had to accept the reality? Jacob’s Ladder with Tim Robbins? The Others with Nicole Kidman? The Sixth Sense with Bruce Willis? This is Black media.
See, Black media is walking about dealing with non-Black entities, corporate advertisers and the Democrat Party as their revenue strategy instead of organically from the Black community and merchant class. Their audience is not the Black family or high-value Black individuals – hell, their audience is not even the YNs who are on social media consuming content.
The current state of Black media is they are grasping for straws trying to stay legit. They are engaged in smoke and mirrors, trying to pretend to talking to Black people, but they are making up content to appeal to the corporate advertisers and Democrats, putting up a dog and pony show.
Seriously, look at that garbage Blavity and Black Enterprise put out – that isn’t for Black people, that is a sham content to make it appear to corporate advertisers they are attracting Black demographics. Fake as hell, especially that Blavity and their AfroTech garbage.
Legacy Black media know they are dead to the Black community, so what they are doing is acting like a bad spirit and targeting Black women and try to pull her down. This is why they are creating narratives to gaslight Black women instead of addressing her problems. The reason why is not to help Black women; but to keep Black media lingering around pretending they are alive and relevant to the real world.
Today, especially after the devastating lost to Trump, and looting and smash and grabs by the YNs – corporate advertisers and Democrats are re-evaluating their relationship with Black media. Notice the Democrats said they are spending money to try to attract men back to the party.
That means the Democrats need Black media to explain why they focused only on Black women instead of Black men or the collective of the Black community. How Black media going to win us brothas back? Yeah, Black media messed up big time and the option real scenario is to move on with corporate advertisers and Democrats moving on to Black social media influencers like iShowSpeed or something instead of legacy Black media.
Black Women – Leave Legacy Black Media Behind
Sistas, do not be trapped by Black media, a ghost of the past. Focus on looking at your situational reality right now and address what is standing in front of you. The corporate world is eating their employees alive, laying off left and right. You need to focus on your situation. Contracts are being tried up, you need to find new opportunities.
You have lost your high-value Black men, you need to find a way to get him back – you will survive out here by yourself, no matter how much you lie to yourself. Because that sh*t sound nice until you realize other women are working with her man to come at you, since you don’t have a man to fight along with you.
You can actually start winning by competing directly with legacy Black media. Focus on the real issues affecting sistas today. Talk about winning a brotha back into a sista life. Use that as your content platform to provide a real counter to dead legacy Black media.
Realize that we are a phase of transformation and transition – listening to Steve Harvey crack jokes on the radio – you sistas really got to ask is this where you supposed to be at in your station in life right now?
Sista, you got way better options right now to be fighting for the goofy state of Black America we are in right now.
Geo-Arbitrage Options. You can move to better regions that are cheaper to live or offer more value for your money. Places being considered are Panama, Thailand, Japan, Dubai – places that not only go longer with your money but give you a peace mind and safety that matters most.
Business/Economic Options. In those regions, you can focus on recalibrating for the 21st century with AI and avoid the race to the bottom. Everybody need digital skills as their Plan B, not a side hustle, but a mix of revenue strategy. Learn how to use Jenkins or N8N, get certified in data science, become a consultant on integrating AI into systems. Even better create AI cookbooks, AI novels, AI self-help books. Learn how to create a MCP server to become a domain expert.
This is called creative destruction and planned obsolescence. Black media is dead, chasing weak Black men stuck in America is dead. Democrats been left you in the room by yourself. The job is replacing you with Indian and Asian women as the sex/race DEI token. You have to reinvent yourself to your situational reality.
I don’t ever want to hear or will never date a Black woman still got the stuck mindset of being in America, never explored global or digital options and opportunity. Yeah, she is beneath me and my caliber as well as most high value brothas. You sistas better elevate yourself to the real landscape out here.
I would be stupid as a Black man to talk back to a sista in America when a South Korean woman who studied and worked in Paris and got property in Dubai is actively checking for American Black men. I need you sistas to understand that why real brothas ain’t looking at you like that anymore. And don’t forget – Travis Hunter got these YNs looking at Latina hotties right now, so you can hang up the cougar stuff while you at it.
Leave the Democrats and Black media in a box and put the box out on the front porch. These weak ass Black men still in America trying to simp and sell you relationship advice – they stuck and have no mobility and will only try to hold you back. Start making real move for yourself and your best interest.
We are going Afroasiatic over here and looking well beyond this failure of legacy Black media and the narrative of Black identity to appeal to Democrats and corporate advertisers. There are too many new opportunities to seize in this digital era.
