Sista, Move in the Direction of Afroasiatic Futurism.

It’s been the underlying theme of Dream and Hustle for over 15 years – we are in Asia, the opportunities in Asia, the future is in Asia for us as a people. There is nothing here in America but stagnation and stubbornness with Black folks until the last walls crumble.

Look around our American Black culture or whatever that supposed to be:

No economic foundation. We do not have an industrial complex like other groups, as long as we been here in America. Indians have IT services, Koreans have Black beauty and sushi, all we got is Black folks signing deals and they better not criticize Israel or the gay community. Everybody yall be trying to brag on is compromised and cannot move on their own, someone outside of our community put them on and put restrictions and conditions on their growth and success.

Black on Black crime. Your own people will steal and harm you over petty stuff or just want to see you as an easy target. When many of you goofy Black voters go out and vote for these liberal judges, you make these thugs smile because now they know they can attack or even kill another decent Black person and get a hug from a Fulton County Black judge after giving that thug a suspended sentence after pleading to manslaughter and time served.

Broken Black Families. This is due to reckless sexual behavior and then trying to gain control in the family dynamics. People be cousins in the same community and don’t talk to each other because of the next point.

Competing instead of Cooperating.  This is a Black community staple. Instead of supporting someone, they want to compare and compete. If they cannot compete, they know someone doing what you doing and try to bring that up. Black women want to compete with her man instead of cooperate in matrimony. Then they mad when a brotha find a Filipina/Indian woman cooperating with him on building up the wealth and family generational legacy.

Black America isn’t for the real progressive sistas as you have personal ambition and dreams. Even your own family don’t want to see you rise up to empire level, include those male cousins in your family and the dudes at your church. We already know how the other sistas act, no need to discuss the obvious.

We can say the cliché go where you are appreciated and not tolerated, but it is deeper than that. We are going to say go where you can find and fulfill your peace, your purpose, and have a meaningful journey. That means get out of your comfort zone because America is not comfortable. We are going global and we are going Afroasiatic.

Pseudo-Black Social Structures

In America after slavery, it took about 50 years that Black people moved up North and started creating alt-cultures of themselves. We start talking we are Black Greeks, we are Black Egyptians, we are Black Islam, we are Black Hebrew, or we are Pan-African. None of those Biblical cultures come close to the legacy of foundational Black American from our history from slavery to who we are today. Weak ones say God chosen them – we are the people who chose God.

Today, we know all of this is goofy cult/prison stuff of confused Black Americans running away from the sacrifice their own enslaved ancestors done 1000x better than any of those Biblical cultures that needed divine intervention when all we had was no name, no identity and the same classification as chattel to still rise up and become who we are today. I give praise the real Mama Emma from the 18th century cotton slave plantation that did not know she made us as a people over anybody else, when it comes to Black History, I don’t give a damn about an Egyptian Pharoah or Imhotep.

Our real history is after post-Slavery, we migrated around America seeking opportunities and we engaged with other immigrants, Italian, Jewish, Chinese, Japanese groups and worked on the Western Expansion and Industrial Revolution. We are an economic growth engine as a people that contributed to making America the most powerful nation in the world. So, all this stupid Black Hebrew made-up crap is a goofy clown who don’t realize his/her own bloodline did way more than that.

I say this to bring to this reality of who we are – we did not build ourselves the same as Africans/Caribbeans who was mostly under colonization that is a different dynamic. We worked with other groups in beginning of the 20th century, then recently, we are working alongside other immigrants such as Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Mexicans, Indians, and Arabs in America – a dynamic not manifested in Africa or the Caribbean.

So, we need to stop the fake pseudo-history of where we are from. The truth is Black Americans are a work in progress from the legacy of slavery and we are still charting our course, in 2025. We are built different, and we moving different because of our unique space and place in history.

Afroasiatic Futurism

This is not a new concept – it is rooted over 100 years ago when Black Americans started moving around the world and learning about other cultures and adopting patterns and practices. Going to Egypt and looked at some Black mummies discovering why Napolean disfigured the nose of the Sphinx is not a pattern and practice.

Patterns and practices are when W.E.B. Dubois went to Japan and to see how they built up Japan after seeing how Japanese was discriminated against in America. You may have forgotten but Japan and other Asians had to live in the Black community as “colored” and you also didn’t ask why you saw half-Asian or Chinese looking Black people in the early 1900s or where Mae Jemison came from.

W.E.B Dubois was studying the actual pattern and practice while Marcus Garvey, a tether from Jamaica was selling a Black Star shipping scam taking money from African-Americans and he spent that money on himself.

Patterns and practices is Martin Luther King going to India to learn peaceful protest movements. Patterns and practices is Malcolm X when to Mecca and saw Muslims all over the world from all cultures, race and creed.

Patterns and practices is when Black women in the 1980s went to work at Sony Music Japan to learn how to move in the music industry.

Patterns and practices is when Ed Dunn went to Japan to learn urban and technology practices that can be adopted for our economic empowerment like QR codes and chillhop cafes but came back like Moses and saw Black people worshipping a golden calf and being ignorant as a people.

Sista, we are a forward-moving people and still learning and discovering. That’s who we are and our future lies in going out and finding and learning to continue to build ourselves. That’s who we are, where we are at, and the direction we are going.

The world is moving in the direction where the opportunities are being shifted to Asia. That means as a sista and me as a brotha, we go where the opportunities are. Most important, we leverage our real history and backgrounds.

There is an elder Chinese scholar giving lectures and he told the audience his background was supporting the early Black Civil Rights movement in America – see, the BS Pan-Africanism does not acknowledge our Asian allies like Japan and China in our historical timeline.

Afroasiatic Futurism has real receipts while Pan-Africanism is just a bunch of jive talking.

We are Moving in Afroasiatic Futurism

I want you to watch this video with Pete Perkins in it – I showed this before and if you have not seen this before, it’s going to be very eye-opening and history you did not know. Honda Mac clones are highly prized collectors. Because there is a path he taken that I’m taken now and I did not know Pete Perkins purpose and path.

Because this is our direction, this is the path we are going to be on. It is already happening – Pete Perkins - and been happening so there is no need to sell you on anything that already been sold. Dream and Hustle as always been on the forefront of this as our and played a key role in shaping this direction.

Let’s go back to Pete Perkins because here is a comment someone wrote about him:

“I found a comment on a website about Pete Perkins - "Perkins later ran the CortNet BBS and Janis II; in 1996, he was running a combination Internet café and classroom.”

Because Pete done this in 1996 and guess what – we are on the same path where I created a blog and now we talking about a chillhop café and I have yet to announce I will be creating tech training centers in Asia with an Afroasiatic angle.

This is why I don’t do “first Black” nonsense, I know there have been other brothas and sistas like Pete Perkins who walked before me and may not had their name out there – shout out to Pete Perkins on all of this.

With that said, let’s talk about how we are going to move.

Accessing the Current American Landscape

In America, I know what’s going on at the ground level and folks are cooked. Black Americans are not even in the running for high paying jobs; those are going to skilled foreigners or outsourced.

AI Eliminating Entry Level Jobs. Corporations are being advised to give senior employees AI tools instead of hiring entry level candidates out of college to save money. Some of this stuff yall hearing for the first time because you listening to clueless cats.

New Homes are for Rental. Instead of building new homes for purchases, we seeing a new trend of housing subdivisions being built for rental only. These rental homes are to fund REITs and fulfil the goal that you will own nothing and be happy.

Debt Bomb Incoming. People are using buy now pay later or BNPL to purchase groceries. Costs are increasing faster than household income affordability. The biggest thing I’m hearing is single Black women who don’t need a man cannot afford the cost of daycare that is now running $400/week.

In Black social circles, a lot of gaslighting and lying. People are promoting a fake lifestyle and success. Folks still voting for Democrats when these liberals already met behind closed doors looking at ways to replace Black voters with other groups like allowing illegal migrants to flood into the country and dump into Black communities.

All of this is moving towards an outcome that is not good for the Black community. Our people elected feckless clowns like the Chicago coons who kept re-electing Danny Davis who is worthless and dusty. It’s the Democrats who created the term “Black fatigue” and they are tired of their Black voters - we not talking about the ghetto Blacks – we talking about the uppity ones that show up on CNN and expecting handouts and try to leverage Black votes.

Build Up Afroasiatic Economic Ecosystem s

Most of the current implementation are Black people moving in Asian communities and circles but not really having an economic base or foundation to build an expat community on. One of the most impressive things to me was Koreans moving to America and created a supermarket sushi stand in the grocery store. That’s an economic vehicle.

Another example is Vietnamese building “Chinese food” in the hood – those were not Chinese people in the hood, they were from places like Southeast Asia. Somebody said yall couldn’t tell the difference anyway and just ordered the shrimp fried rice all the time.

We have to look at the same thing, what can we build up? The best and fastest way is to first build up digital and social ecosystems to then build up physical structures.

Networking Spots. These are third spaces we will create for our people. These are churches, sports and recreation centers, chillhop café, restaurants, as meeting area like other groups have done. Then we will arrange travel and meetups to engage in activities so we don’t feel alone in this Afroasiatic journey. As you know, there is an awesome Black Professional Tokyo networking on First Fridays and you saw the video of me attending one.

Training Centers. But here is where the next step comes in that I spoke about. We start building training centers so we can learn digital skills, language skills, expat lifestyle skills, cooking skills, and build a bond not only between ourselves but people in the host country to help assist us. Keep in mind we can also have after school tutoring for the kids as well if necessary.

We will begin building all this out because I’m divesting from the Black American community for not supporting this brotha and his hard work. I will take my skills, resources, and my money and build up for Black people somewhere else and we going Afroasiatic.

Built all of this up for Black empowerment in America then the Black community act like sniveling little b*tches and punks - nah, I got other options and moving bigger than a passport bro, I’m a global visa and freezone bro.

Business Skills Modeled after Afroasiatic Patterns

Our work here has been based in studying practices and patterns in Asia that was rooted in Afroasiatic patterns that have moved to Asia and still practiced there. Our Black community lost those techniques and patterns because we were “chasing the bag” and other silly shallow stuff.

But there is fluid innovation in Asia as they are leading the world in breakthroughs that we can also learn from and apply for our growth and development, and overall betterment. Let’s discuss a few:

AI and Tech Careers. We can learn from technologies like robotics, renewable energy, smart agriculture that is not in America but strong in Asia. These are skills of the future and we have to move where the centers of excellence are located at to build up these skills.

Food Service. This is a big deal where we can create food establishment, food halls, mobile food vendors because we can cook healthy dishes and feed people. Notice hunger is not a big problem in Japan for example – it’s always a food establishment or even a vending machine somewhere. Food crisis in the hood is an artificial construct and can be solved but if Chicago Black folks keep voting for Danny Davis, how can you solve anything?

Digital Services. We do not understand how simpler and more relevant these models are. This is what VPS are for. Creating SMS marketing campaigns, schedule appointments, send bill payment reminders, program subscription programs, create pay-per-view media, tokenization of media distribution and digital assets like NFT – you can build an SME on these services alone.

We can move to Asia or study what’s being done in Asia and adopt these models and help each other with Afroasiatic discipline and build up future-facing business opportunities. We will be pursuing this.

Afroasiatic Offers Lower Cost of Living

We cannot afford homes and cost of living in the current landscape; the UK is also experiencing this issue as well. But there are still places in Asia with a lower cost of living, better and cheaper healthcare services, better cheaper daycare services, and affordable home ownership prices.

These are things we are going to look at with adopting Afroasiatic patterns.

Food Choices. We are going to adopt a healthier lifestyle rich in seafood, vegetables, more plant protein, and we have to share these recipes and cooking techniques with each other. Also distribute a book on where to shop and eat while we living overseas so we can have a buddy system of eating right and affordable.

Homes and Communities. We also going to have to define areas collectively where is the most affordable place to live overseas and do business overseas. We can information share this useful advice and help each other not just wander lost in the Afroasiatic journey. We already see Latinos moving to Saitama, Japan for example and Nigerians hanging out in Roppongi – we need the same kind of moves.

Third Spaces. We should look for places we can feel welcomed in Asia and also share that information among ourselves. Places that give good service, affordable, stable, and friendly owners.

The goal here is to make sure we establish a proper ecosystem for our people to move to Asia and can plug right into an ecosystem with support instead of being lost. Be mindful of one thing – we don’t have to live next to each other. I learned this from my first Japanese girlfriend in Tokyo when I saw she had an interest-based mobile strategy of going where things interest her was located, even if she got on the train for 45 minutes to get there.

Markets for Afroasiatic Establishment

Where do we move about in Asia? There are factors that impact us personally to make that decision and our move is going to always be focus on what is best for you and your lifestyle. You may be a single young person who want to learn the local language or culture in Japan. Or you may want to retire and relax in Thailand at the beach and enjoy a low-vibe lifestyle.

Let’s go through the list and give our take

Japan. To be honest, the best thing about Japan is keeping to yourself. I recommend Japan for solo movers, and moving in silence. You can own land in Japan and purchase a home, a major plus. But this is the most compatible country with hip-hop, Japanese R&B. But the downside is lack of friends in Japan as everybody keep to themselves.

South Korea. The biggest advantage is the synergy between American and South Korea. You can start a business in South Korea which is another plus. The only downside is like Japan where you won’t have a lot of Korean friends and treated like an outsider.

Thailand. A popular choice due to low-cost lifestyle and party atmosphere. The drawback is cannot own a home and difficult to run a business to support yourself.

Philippines. This is a country where you can take advantage of starting global business operation with a talented workforce. But you cannot own a home and only a condo.

Malaysia. This is a hidden gem where it has all what Thailand has but more conservative and you can own your home, a big plus.

China. The major advantage is becoming a global trader. If you want to build and ship your own EV company and get finance or run advanced blockchain-based business, this is the where you grow and prosper.

Hong Kong. This sector is not what it used to be as China has developed megacities that outshine Hong Kong. The cost of living is too high and there is not much upside compared to the other options in Asia.

Taiwan. Not talked about a lot but it has the hidden gem of being a combination of Japanese and Chinese influence. The issue is there is a level of crime that is hidden from the news report.

Singapore. I don’t see any excitement here and people from Singapore say don’t move here unless you have a good financial job.

A lot of these places you have to consider your lifestyle, your goals such as finding a home or marrying or retiring, or your business. One strategy that is discussed by Andrew Henderson from Nomad Capitalist is to separate where you run your business versus where you live. For example, run a business out of Dubai, set up a holding company to pay you a salary while living in Thailand or Malaysia.

Sistas, Get on the Path

Overall, this is for the sistas – this is our future, we moving in this direction and building out a new future for our people. We are looking at new horizons, new paradigms, and new opportunities to build out a true global empire.

This nonsense in Black America no longer viable or have a runway. The constant voting for Democrats, sistas acting stank and brothas not building up, the petty jealously and faking, while being quietly replaced by other groups - Black America is going nowhere but down.

Most of these places you cannot live long-term due to citizenship requirements or may not have any, especially if you are a young person. But what it will do is help you get the global skills you need to be able to move around the world and build global empires that you cannot do in the Black American community.

We got to be like John Galt and Jane Galt – let’s move and build up because we don’t deserve to be putting up with Black America and I hear some of you talking about Black fatigue, we get it. We moving Afroasiatic, building up a new diaspora and let those characters start asking “Who is John Galt?” and then start asking “Where is John Galt?” and quietly leave them and legacy brand Black America behind in the rearview mirror.
