The Path to Black Excellence Requires Pursuing the PMC
During the journey to launch the global empire as a caramel-complexion Black man from the West Side of Chicago, I learned exactly who I needed to target to reach Black Excellence in our community. I also realize what group of Black folks I was basically wasting my time with. Many of you brothas and sistas may not realize it, but you probably distracted playing around with Black Ignorance.
Black ignorance is the gaslighting segment of our community that is following YouTube personalities talking about relationships or financial guru stuff. Black ignorance is the people in the hood who have quietly surrendered to oppression and act like a fool within structured oppressive systems. Black ignorance is on the job or at the university acting like a clique instead of learning and growing. Black ignorance is on social media talking about they are inspired by a clickbait article claiming some Black person they don’t know is rich while ignoring their own family members out here grinding.
What many Black entrepreneurs, myself included is we tend to seek support and acceptance from Black ignorance assuming they are vested in what we trying to accomplish. But there are two factors at play. The first factor is Black ignorance is broke and does not have the money they are flexing on. Does Black ignorance have manufacturing and export industries like their global counterparts? Black folks are conditioned to be a consumer class - just pass-through value where the money comes in the community and quickly leaves the community and they are dependent on that next paycheck every two weeks.
The second factor and we don’t want to admit this but it’s upsetting – Black ignorance doesn’t want to see brothas and sistas make it. Black ignorance will try to downplay, ignore and even sabotage Black Excellence from elementary school to adulthood. You see the brothas chasing the loose chicks in our community. You see the sistas chasing the brothas that are up to no good. You will see Black politicians and Black preachers and so-called YouTube personalities try to pretend true Black success doesn’t exist but will share on social media some cornball stuff and our people like it to try to keep the culture downtrodden to reflect their lack of self-worth and lack of self-drive. Black ignorance will always turn on anything resembling Black Excellence.
What we need to recognize is Black Excellence can only be pursued by targeting the true group that actually make thing happen – the Professional Managerial Class or PMC. These are the Black folks who work careers, not jobs but careers. These are the merchants and entrepreneurs who already established their business at the level of invoices, purchase orders, and account receivables, not counting $20 bills in their hands. This group refers to themselves as grown and sexy, Black and professional, and the Black merchant class.
In addition, we are looking at the PMC worldwide, the business owners, and people who offer services on Main Street around the world. They all have the same mindset, they making money but need solutions to make their operations less costly and more efficient. They have the credit line and make payments and sign up to subscription programs without trying to cancel after one month because they can afford a $14.99/month subscription.
If you are Black and entrepreneurial, you need to target the PMC audience and realize your payment model can only truly scale and growth from the PMC. They will accept recurring subscriptions for $14.99/month. They will see your invoice in their Account Receivable folder and put the PAID stamp on it and cut a check for your business. They have business line credit to purchase essential items for their business operations you unload from the truck. They will also have a card on file with your website to initiate a purchase order for wholesale supplies.
You deal with Black ignorance and you see payment declines, check bounces, cats trying to tell you that you charging too much, they want a refund and their money back and got an attitude. Then you got signs on your business saying no refunds and no money back because you dealing with low-class Black ignorance. Go ride around your hood and look at a business that caters to Black ignorance – car lots where they got GPS switches to cut off a car if a payment isn’t made; folks behind thick glass to prevent armed robberies or someone spitting on them; serving fried unhealthy food or expired meat at the bodega or corner store – that’s the business models catering to Black ignorance and look at how angry and frustrated that merchant look dealing with Black folks.
Look at how Black ignorance is looking at my global enterprise, they don’t know what to do and how to hate it. I got Black folks trying to compare and offset what I do – they will be like “I know other people doing what you do” – nah, they don’t know anybody doing what I doing and notice what they said. They are telling us they know someone doing better than us but that person running their mouth ain’t doing better than us. If someone is doing better than you, trust me they will be more likely to help you than allow some Black ignorant punk to use their name and hard work to try to downplay or denigrate the work you are doing to become Black Excellence.
But if you really look at the Manufactured Solution and my offerings, I really cater to educated entrepreneurs and career professionals with years of experience who have money and savings to do something on the next level. My customers will receive an invoice and will pay that invoice. My customers have to design new paradigms that reflect their existing workflows to be more efficient and better. And I’m not talking just the Black PMC community in America, I’m talking about Latin America, Canada, Asia, Europe, and the African professional-managerial class client base.
I have no business being around Black ignorance or don’t care what they got to say. I have women in Black ignorance who think they can reject me when I got PMC women from all over the world just as fine and body thick who can carry on an intelligent conversation and got the money to make equal moves with a Black man. I got brothas I grew up with, pledge the same fraternity with who think they ignoring me like I care what another man thinks about anything – I was raised by real men to provide and cultivate the Black family unit, not care what other brothas think, especially Black ignorance brothas. I got a network of brothas truly making moves around the world. I was in Tokyo and walking down the street and a brotha from America rode up in a bike next to me on the sidewalk – he in Tokyo doing crypto stuff – now, talk to me about how much I should care about Black ignorance brothas again. Thought so.
Do not be the Black Excellence we saw growing up who opened up a “Black-owned” business in the hood, not realizing they have to deal with Black ignorance. Black ignorance will not support that Black-owned business and drive 30 minutes out to go shop at a mall in the suburbs. Instead, focus on the Professional Managerial Class who willing to pay out of necessity to run their business more efficiently or less costly. Send invoices, provide “make it right” policies with the PMC, and build up a true word of mouth relationship and empire.
This is the way of Black Excellence - we will no longer transact with Black ignorance – we will focus on the PMC around the world to support our empires and our growth.
