Kossier 2.0 Lifestyle App Upcoming Features and Opportunities
We are giving a first preview of Kossier upcoming features. The next generation lifestyle app is ready for the world, and we are going to be released very soon.
Kossier was conceived and developed in Tokyo, Japan, where extensive research and testing also took place. The project benefited from the collaboration and insights of the Tokyo team and local contacts with experience in digital-first practices.
Kossier represents the initial phase of our roadmap, designed to be accessible to users, customers, and businesses for engagement within the Toshikiso ecosystem. Additionally, it is intended to support a digital-first user experience by facilitating productive, informative, and entertaining daily activities.
This article introduces new Kossier features and highlights potential entrepreneurial opportunities the lifestyle app will offer.
Kossier 2.0 Features
This is the screenshot I released on social media of the Kossier 2.0 preview. The first version had limited features and a bland static design. The updated Kossier focuses on local fiscalism and streaming rich data to the user. Let’s cover the features.
Hub-Orientated. Kossier connects users to their local hub, which serves its specific community—such as the Atlanta Hub for the greater Atlanta area. This approach enables authentic local engagement while minimizing exposure to scammers and trolls elsewhere. Your data syncs wherever you go, and entrepreneurs can create services for one hub that automatically localize and distribute globally, such as adapting from Atlanta hub to Busan hub with Korean localization.
Notifications. Streaming notifications will function like those on mobile devices but are tailored for efficient business-to-customer interactions. For example, a rental company app can alert you when your scooter is ready, or you'll receive an appointment confirmation after booking a haircut via QR code. These automated notifications maintain effective communication between businesses and customers.
Accounts. Ledger accounts track spending or token use. For example, in a cashless laundromat using Kossier, customers pay for a subscription of 31 tokens (1 token = 1 day). They reserve a station by scanning a QR code, which deducts a token from their account. This system could be used to run a laundromat or gym club with just Kossier, equipment, and retail space.
Messages. Businesses can message Kossier users individually or in bulk to share sales and discounts. Only users with high social credit scores, verified through positive activity, may contact businesses as valued clients. Kossier ensures that only quality customers reach out to businesses.
Contacts. Kossier users can add contacts by scanning QR codes or utilizing NFC touchpoints at participating locations. Subsequently, users may subscribe to messages, check-in, purchase content subscriptions, or schedule appointments as desired.
Check-In. This feature allows users to authenticate with a business or service for activities like appointments, reservations, website access, or gym entry. Businesses can monitor check-ins and engage or follow up with customers.
Redeem. Users can apply coupon codes for discounts or redemption codes for credits. Buying tokens with cash generates a code for token airdrops. Businesses may print a QR code for Kossier users to scan or issue a gift card with a scratch-off code.
Tracking. This feature keeps users updated on transaction status. Though Kossier first used this feature for shipment tracking, Kossier can now track and monitor workflows like dry cleaning or auto repair progression.
The big picture of these features is enabling engagement with local businesses within the hub location. Many small businesses are now empowered to launch with a low overhead with many tedious small tasks and communication handled by digital services.
Tokens are available from the merchant without cash. A community can set up a cashless cryptocurrency exchange using kiosks to buy and sell tokens. Businesses receive their tokens at redemption or at the end of each 31-day billing cycle.
Both shopping and streaming features use the syndication model, allowing businesses to list products on their own or other platforms. Let's examine this feature in more detail.
Shopping and Membership
Historically, merchants established physical shops and collaborated with companies to distribute and display products. The Kossier syndication model enables producers of goods and services to syndicate their offerings by distributing product listings across multiple merchants.
Merchants can present these listings on Kossier as well as on other commercial platforms, allowing users broader access for browsing and purchasing. Additionally, global distribution is supported, such as listing at the Busan hub with translation into Korean to reach global markets.
As an entrepreneur, you can develop a product and list it on an exchange using searchable tags, enabling merchants to easily locate and evaluate your offering. Numerous merchants may request to feature your product in their retail stores. You can choose to supply inventory at their locations, arrange for shipment to the store for customer pickup, or deliver directly to end customers.
Kossier can display to the user where your product is listed and feature it in targeted ads at relevant hubs, making marketing more efficient than broad campaigns.
Memberships follow the same procedure. If you open chillhop cafes across Japan, Korea, and Indonesia, Kossier can only list them at the hub locations where your cafes operate.
Think about it - we’ve created a model where you can launch an ICO or fundraising campaign to raise tokens for your chillhop café anywhere. If you reach the funding threshold for a location, you can establish chillhop cafés globally—this is the new Kossier 2.0 paradigm.
Streaming Content
Streaming content marks a shift in Kossier lifestyle app strategy, enabling syndication to both publishers and the Kossier platform rather than relying solely on a central blog or video channel.
Kossier offers users access to a range of free and paid e-books, podcasts, articles, comics, videos, and games. Content can be monetized through a tokenization service, which provides both monthly subscription and pay-as-you-go options.
A podcast studio can produce fictional narratives and distribute them globally through regional hubs, ensuring content is available in each hub's local language. Similarly, a weather content platform can deliver real-time meteorological updates to users at no cost, supported by sponsored content.
We recommend creating an AI-generated comic strip that users can easily scroll through on their phones. This format is especially popular among mobile users in Asia who are commuting or browsing while waiting.
AI can help you create promotional videos for digital ads and pre-rolls, as well as develop role-playing games and digital collectibles. This approach could be your plan for digital nomad life in Bali or Pattaya, or a backup retirement option in Da Nang.
Kossier is the Core of a New Paradigm
Kossier is a lifestyle app that connects businesses and customers through a regional hub—the community's data centre.
Kossier was designed for modern business models, including tokenized operations, automated engagement, self-service, shopping, and micro-entertainment.
Kossier is introducing an approach intended to influence the future of business. We hope you recognize the potential opportunities.
And one more thing – some people may not figure out our cute, friendly and furry Kossier Japanese anime mascot, but we ran out of time to explain.
