The Journey and the Official Global Rollout Underway
Since the beginning of April 2022, we began the rollout of our hubs and gateways around the globe. I wrote an article on this before that explains our setup. We have already set up API gateways and API hubs and payment gateways and payment hubs to serve APIs and receive payment from key markets around the world. We are operating on continuous integration of infrastructure as software and DevOps in both cloud and data centers. Our firm has long been established as a full-fledged business as I’m paying full-fledge bills and costs each month and it’s just time to get out there.
We cannot predict what is ahead of us or the roadmap. If you look at the world today, China locking down Shanghai and other major Chinese cities, this is a big deal. Ukraine was pretty much destroyed as a market of talent and innovation and Russian talent also migrated around the world. Japan still has its travel entry ban just limited action to pretend they are serious about reopening up to the world. UAE is being dragged into the Yemen conflict. Africa is in complete meltdown and turmoil with inflation, food shortages, rebel conflicts, and the military takeover of African nations. Violence is out of control in Latin America and these events are disruptive and evolving and the world is not the same or stable to plan a linear course anymore.
When I started this journey as a brotha from the West Side of Chicago who wanted to create a solution for his people, community, and the future, I did not expect this juncture. I kept running into a Black community full of folks who want to pretend they are alpha or HNIC but got nothing to show and no real work, just validation and acknowledgment from White privileged structures. Then I saw outright charlatans and them scamming broke Black folks and broke Black folks eating it up like a bucket of pork chitterlings on Christmas day. Our people weren’t serious, some Black folks are but overall, our people are not serious and should not be taken seriously.
Meanwhile and this is the fated journey of us all – it’s not who we grew up with, who we are related to or who we try to form artificial life bonds with. The journey is a journey of self-realization and self-actualization, your purpose, your contribution, your gift to the world with the life that was gifted to you. That means that you meet the exciting people on each stage of your journey, and you hear the stories of strangers and those that are around you at certain points of your life. The exciting part is not who you know, it’s who you don’t know now and will eventually meet on your purpose-driven journey.
I met incredible sistas worldwide that I didn’t believe existed putting up with the African-American sistas who were making up BS for a good brotha to put up instead of just having real genuine love and respect. I met brothas and other men around the world who had the same hard work ethic but at the same time, recognize what I was doing and supported me as colleagues and peers while Black dudes be acting like punk hoes following YouTube charlatans typing in the comment section about them and got some things to say about a brotha like me like I’m less than compared to other Black folks – while I’m working with the top professionals in the league around the world past 25 years.
I know who my customers are and they don’t bounce checks and they pay the 5-figure invoices on time, sistas and brothas fall off to near non-existent at that level of the game, trust me. You got to go big and you got to know who is going to truly be there at the big level. My boo in Japan who speaks multiple languages supports me and she can take me around the world and help me get introduced to high-value networks plus I got colleagues around the world who can do the same thing from my global work history and just working on projects together both on-record and off-record projects where I showed my talent and skills and the value I create. That is the exciting part of this mission, meeting tech-talent smart sistas for the first time from Argentina and Brazil, and Peru. All that brand new stuff is why you go out and do this, not focus on those you already know and are familiar with. The journey is on the unfamiliar and the uncharted.
Here is the thing I never really explained and should be obvious – we don’t need our platforms to start building against our core system. Meaning we don’t need API gateways and can just start building in-house applications within our organization and release them to market. Dream and Hustle is an example – we can code against our own platform we design and start releasing blockchain solutions, crypto solutions, fintech solutions, supply chain solutions, smart city solutions, and smart business solutions and that is exactly what we going to do in addition to launching our APIs and gateways.
With that said, I’m going to start announcing things we have worked on against our platform and will be part of our company brand and offerings. For example, we are launching a dating/relationship platform for qualified Black men – I have a whole article on this but you already know the term qualified Black men means what it means. That is exciting because I want good Black men to win at love. The second thing is we are launching streaming stations and we are launching an advertising network. I want to see independent artists around the world win and get paid as well. These things are already using some of the existing platform technology that we will also be exposed to via API via Toshikiso. These are an example of ventures where we going to meet and encounter new people, new paradigms, and new possibilities.
With that said, I will advise all Black folks to de-program themselves from this BS race-identity mentality about being Black in tech, serving a Black community that engages in f*ckery, and focus on your journey, your purpose, and be excited for who you plan to meet along the way of your journey. Even the past 10 years of Dream and Hustle, I met interesting characters even some instances I had to replace interesting characters with better interesting characters like Tokyo for example – quickly replaced that Black in Japan BS with Japanese in Japan to really get to the center of what matters and where the action at.
Now that we have begun our journey, the real story, the real excitement about the brand new people, brand new opportunities, and brand new experiences are about to begin.
