Guessing It Was Never About Black Girl Code, Huh?
First of all, lol to all you Blavity AfroTech clowns, yall some losers and sorry for real. No skills, no fundamentals, no strategy, no improvements, no iterations, just some posing ass clowns trying to impress each other in that Black-identity circus talking shallow about money numbers to non-customers instead of having the ability to create value to actual customers.
Do you know the funny part out of all this? These Black-identity clowns doing that Blavity AfroTech nonsense thought they were the ones who can show up and create the rules about who is Black and doing their damn thing in the technology space. Garbage ass AfroTech conference where they talk about having imposter syndrome all the time. Never approached me about any of this because I would have torn them up like a rag doll left around a dog if they brought that lightweight irrelevant Black-identity garbage around me.
Kimberly Bryant who created Black Girl Code, a non-profit, and I want to stress something you should already see where this article is going – a non-profit – oh Kim got fired from the non-profit she started, and the reports saying they fired her with no exit package, no severance or health benefits, just tossed her out on the street.
From what I read; it was ol Kim herself who brought in the board of directors that took her down. This is a classic Black cornball sellout story right here. These are Black folks who read these White business books and articles about having a strong management team and bringing on people that are skilled and don’t always agree with you. That’s some BS – you are Black and you see how these characters come for a Black person when they are about to blow up; you trust no one but yourself and your vision and you stay authoritarian like an African dictator and keep your empire on lock. Kimberly was one of those dumbasses that wanted to look the part to look important and she was just another caught-up Black person who got kicked out of her own non-profit she started.
But here is the thing because there is a keyword here. The keyword is “non-profit” meaning this is an entity that is supposed to serve a purpose and create value that is bigger than creating profits. Meaning a non-profit is something you startup but you don’t finish and you simply walk away from it and let someone else take over and handle your non-profit. You don’t sit around fussing and angry over a non-profit because there is no equity or money in it. So looking at Kimberly Bryant acting all crazy over a non-profit when all she can get from it is a salary, not equity is revealing what type of chick Kim really was.
Bottom line, Kim wasn’t real work or the truth – just a lame chick who was drawing a salary out of a non-profit from an idea of Black Girls Code when there is a more mainstream Girls Who Code organization, just created a silly Black version of the Girls Who Code stuff. Why is she fighting and doing petty stuff? See, this is why brothas be avoiding sistas because once the love is gone and it’s time to move on, we got Black women like Kim all petty and bitter and then you see that chick was hiding her trifling ass ways throughout the whole relationship. That’s why I advise Black men to file for divorce from their wives every 3 years to see who she really is and how she really acts. Because you can always rescind the divorce filing but once you filed and she talks she wants the kids with no father visitation and spousal support and the house – then you as a brotha know what you were married to and let the filing proceed.
Now we see what Kim was really about and it wasn’t Black Girl Code. Let me break something down to you – if Kim was a real one, she would have just walked away from Black Girl Code and started up something else real quick. Because it doesn’t take anything to teach Black girls how to code and set up another organization. This happens among non-profit founders all the time; they start up a non-profit then they leave or are booted out and startup another non-profit with a new vision and approach. But look at Kim over there acting all petty and attitude and shit after getting booted off Black Girl Code. She wasn’t really about that mission.
Think about it – what does it take to teach Black girls how to code? Hell, I can show Black girls how to low-code off our API platform just through articles and documentation, right? I’m going to do that anyway, teaching folks how to code using our platform so this is not a big deal to someone who actually knows how to teach others how to code. Kim could have created her own service-orientated platforms to help Black girls how to low-code in the modern era. This isn’t a for-profit and that is the crazy part looking at Kim acting petty.
Kim doesn’t have equity like stock options or stock ownership in a non-profit firm. The only thing non-profit money is supposed to do is go to the actual service or cause. But people are complaining these non-profits are around making the executives rich and few dollars actually reach the intended target. So looking at Kim over there acting like she acting, you got to wonder is she really concerned about delivering value to Black girls who want to learn to code? Because there is no money in Black Girl Code to chase after – why is she acting stupid, because of her ego and pride? Her ego and pride would have another non-profit up and running right away after they tossed her like an egg salad.
End of the day, yall be following these Black clowns these cornball Blavity AfroTech characters, and be admiring the lightweight shit they be on. I haven’t mentioned Kimberly asked some ex-executive from Code 2040 to help her, that bullshit organization founded by that lame-ass Tristan Walker token behind, that ex-executive didn’t seem to help Kimberly either. Now you see how the real game is played and you see the folks you've been admiring like Kimberly Bryant, she shows you that she is not resilient or talented, she is just a posing ass chick who liked the attention making up some Black-identity Black Girls Code as if Puerto Rican girls who live in our Black communities don’t deserve the opportunity to learn to code as well.
I be over here, my Chicago West Side ghetto Black behind working with real tech talent all over the world, building up for real, the money is for real, the platforms are for real – I been putting up enough receipts on Dream and Hustle so all that “theory” talk kinda ran for the hills, huh? But we had this bullshit Black-identity clique shit like Blavity AfroTech, a bunch of clowns talking like they smart and they know who is who among the Blacks of Blacks and they are ones who can pick and choose. Me, I’m over here setting up global hubs in Asia, the Middle East, and here in America and we got the skills and resources to make it happen over here – nobody having a punk clown opinion in a comment section somewhere has no impact on our hustle over here.
This is funny as hell – all you cornball lame Blavity AfroTech clowns be commenting and posing and got nothing to show for while folks handling real game in Singapore, Dubai, and London and making real global scale moves while yall Black clowns clucking like chickens in the tech game making up some subculture Black-identity and tech nonsense, just talking and yall broke clowns with no real tech talent begging VCs in Silicon Valley for some diversity George Floyd sympathy money so that company can show they are DEI and woke and meet ESG goals with Wall Street.
Yall cornballs in this Black in tech space been getting money all these years, all this press all these years, and yall don’t got shit to show for that match the money and opportunities extended to you. Elon Musk started off with less money and bigger risks than what was given to Tristan Walker cornball no-talent token ass. As I said, this whole shit is funny as hell that's why I don’t go around these Black in tech clowns because I will start giggling and bust out in laughter at these fake fuckers. Look at Kim acting all stupid over a no-money non-profit instead of just making new moves, lol, yall lame as fuck.
